These terms govern the relationship between Platform Accountants and any person or business that uses our website or engages our accounting services.
By using our website at platformaccountants.co.uk or by purchasing any of our services, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use our website or services.
Our Services
Platform Accountants provides accounting and tax preparation services for sole traders and self-employed individuals in the United Kingdom. Our services include the following.
- We review your income and expenses for the tax year
- We prepare your Self Assessment tax return and supporting documents
- We produce a Profit and Loss statement
- We produce a Balance Sheet
- We provide a complete tax summary showing your tax liability
Your Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete information when engaging our services.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of all figures, documents, and records you send to us
- We prepare your tax documents based entirely on the information you provide — if that information is incomplete or inaccurate, your documents will reflect that
- You are responsible for reviewing all documents we prepare before submitting them to HMRC
- You are responsible for meeting all HMRC deadlines — we are not liable for missed deadlines caused by late submission of your information to us
- You must be a sole trader or self-employed individual based in the United Kingdom to use our services
Fees and Payment
All fees are payable in full at the time of purchase. Payment is processed securely online. We accept major debit and credit cards.
All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Any change in pricing will not affect services already paid for.
Turnaround Time
We aim to prepare your completed documents within 24 to 48 hours of receiving all required information from you.
Cancellations and Refunds
- You may cancel your order within 14 days of purchase provided we have not yet begun work on your documents — this is your right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
- If work has already begun at your request within the 14 day period, your right to cancel may be reduced or lost
- Once your documents have been prepared and delivered to you, we are unable to offer a refund

Our Liability
- We are not liable for any errors, penalties, fines, or additional tax charges that arise from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you
- We are not liable for any loss of income, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our services
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for those services
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform Accountants website, including text, images, and design, is owned by Platform Financial Services Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our website without our written permission.
